WTB: 04-05 CTS-V ...trade for my '99 LS1 Camaro I would like to trade my Camaro+cash for a 04-05 CTS-V.
I'm looking for a pretty much stock V. As long as it is mechanically sound (well maintained and not beaten hard), and the interior is nice, I'll be happy (I don't mind dings and scratches). Miles need to be under 100k...preferably around 85k like my car to keep the price down. Upgraded diff is a plus.
What I have is a '99 NBM Z28. Pretty much stock with boltons. A4***(see note at the bottom), leather seats, alpine head unit, and t-tops. Runs great...just looking for something with a little more room. List of mods are as follows:
Body/exterior
SS wing
Glasstek cowl hood
New headlight assemblies w/whistler mod
Chrome ZR1s with new Nitto tires (tires are a few hundred miles old)
Engine/performance
Lid w/ k&n filter (about a year old)
Pacesetter long tubes (couple years old)
Borla adjustable catback (about a year old)
LS6 intake
Rev Xtreme catch can (a few months old)
New valve seals with new LS6 valve springs (replaced about a thousand miles ago)
New plugs and wires installed at same time as valve seals and springs
Custom tune
SLP underdrive pulley (not installed yet, but I have it)
Had 3:42 gears installed (whine a bit after 55mph)
C5 front brake conversion: TRUE Bishop brackets (aluminum style), new C5 calipers, new C5 rotors, Carbotech Bobcat 1521 pads, Goodridge stainles hoses (about a few hundred miles old...swap done last month)
Strano lowering springs (few months old)
KYB AGX adjustable front struts w/new strut mounts (few months old)
If anyone is interested, pm me and we can exchange email and pics. I'm not looking to sell outright...unless someone wants to give me a ridiculous amount of money (it's my daily driver...only driver actually).
***even though the A4 shifts great (especially with the tune), I had planned on swapping to a M6. So if you were thinking of trading, but didn't like the fact mine was auto, I have a full M6 swap that could be had for cash, or a price reduction off the V. The swap includes:
Zero mile, fresh, Tickshift built T56 with bellhousing---has every upgrade except viper shafts. Supposed to be good to 700hp
B&M ripper shifter (new)
GM slave cylinder (new)
GM master cylinder (new)
LS6 flywheel (new)
Centerforce dual friction clutch (new)
ARP hardware
GM pilot bearing (new)
Pedal assembly
trans crossmember
and a couple pigtails for the wiring
I bought the trans used, then paid Tick to build it. The build was done about a month ago, and has been in my garage since.
