Go test drive one, I'll bet you like it. The C6 is a nicely built car, even when I sit in my Dad's C5 now it feels 'old' compared to the C6. But, its definitely not a bang-for-the-buck winner, they are still pricey.
Used f-bodies have awesome bang for the buck, and are fun too.
