looking to spend..depends what is done to the car...my plan is to build it right the first time and to do some serious mods to the car...so I dont want to buy something with a reworked ls1 motor in it just to take it out to put something bigger in it...im a fan of the lsx, ls3, etc etc blocks and would want to go that route...

that is always a good plan to work with. that is what I started with on this project. but now after almost 2 years of working on it I am ready to move on. it has a 408 in it I will get some dyno numbers to you when I get it to the dyno. it still lacks a rear end and suspension. but that is all. I built the motor to handle boost. but also be a good daily driver. 10:1 cr and I was going to put a magnacharger on it. but I am bored with it. so I dont want to do that. I will get some good pics in the next couple of days. it has the fast 90intake, nick williams Throttle body. AFR 225's right out of the box. comp cams blower cam on the Xer lobes. eagle rotating assembly. diamond pistons. also the paint was done right. everything was pulled out of the car. so you can never tell. I still have to put the interior back into it. just a few little things to make it ready to go.
