be patient, save up, dont waste money on the v6 as far as mods but rather make sure it runs good, clean it up and sell it...
and later buy a nice cheap z28

Buy mods that you can take off and put on your Z28 when you get it... Things like rims or even a splitter

Id go apearence mods that can be swapped over but as far as performance unless you do a big turbo kit(which is kind of a waste) you really shouldnt waste time or money. To me the only thing a V6 camaro is good for is a good platform for a drag car in which case you would change everything but the body.

The price of Z28s are great.Save up and buy a 98-02 LS1 Z28.

there are some fast v6 camaros out there, i think they are down into the 11s or 10s, but they pump so much money in their cars, and end up with a non streetable car.

i agree with those who said to keep it clean and running well, and do some minor appearance mods that can be transferred.

i think most of us started off with a v6, whether it be fbody or not.

That's what I did with my 94 3.4, I started with suspension. I put LT1 rear disk (you can also put LS1 rear brakes). I upgraded the front brakes to LS1 (but you can also upgrade to C5 brakes). Appearance mods. I am still planning on dropping in my 396 LS1 stroker into the car, but at times want to put it into my convertible SS (396 SS has a nice ring to it )

Its not worth the motor swap unless you either plan to go all out race car, or at least do it all yourself as many have mentioned Z28s are pretty cheap now a days.

That's actually what I am thinking of doing. That way the 94 can legally pass the referee inspection (since I own the other car) and I can flash my 99 computer with a clone of my 2002 so the VIN can match.
