Moving to Phoenix, got some questions

Where I live now, we have no emissions. I know there are emissions in Phoenix, but to what extent. Sniffer, so cats should be needed, but what about EGR? I will keep AIR since it is on all model F-bodies, but since EGR was only on the 98-2000, and I want to put a ls6 intake on it, I want to get rid of it. Would I fail since EGR is factory equiped on MY car, even though the newer ones didn't have it? I know they check for codes, so I would have that cleared out. Also, say I were to run catted duals, would that pass the carbonmonoxide and other tests performed? I want duals, but since I will needs cats, my ideas for my exhaust is now changing. Just looking on input from Phoenix people. Thanks.

Sniffer is not done on OBD II cars here (1996 and later). They will just plug into your PCM and check to see if the "readiness monitors" have been completed, your SES light is functional, and if you have any codes present.
They are SUPPOSED to do a visual and gas cap check. However, when I took my car in they didn't do any visual. I was done in a couple minutes.

When I first bought my WS6 bone stock they did a visual, same car same emission place years later, they only checked codes, never even lifted the hood and I had LTs, ORY, LM, no air, no egr, heads and cam. The tech actually said "sounds healthy"....

I don't think they even looked under my hood. Just plugged it in to make sure there weren't any codes. The worst part was rumbling up with a cam, and dumped true duals! But I passed with no issues.
