For everyone that owns a black car...
get a car cover I used to wash my car every week right before the weekend just to keep it clean for a couple days. I just recently took my bros advice and went down to auto zone and picked up a car cover and my car will stay clean for 2 weeks

You barely realized that. I work in a very high dust area. What I do is Wash and wax my car, then cover it nights, and days at work. When I get off I come home, around 6pm when the suns not so strong I dust it off with a california duster then whip the entire thing down with a microfiber and detail spray. That last me about 2 weeks and it stays super clean.

here is some advice about the whole car cover thing, all it is is a dust shield, well sort of, dont attempt to tie it down in the wind it will only damage your paint more, and make sure you car is dust free before you put it on or else you will end up with a **** load of swirl marks,

I have the California Car Cover that came with my car, and I echo what Luke says. I can't really use it because after a day of driving, my car would be dusty, a little dirty.
I once put the car cover on in this situation while I was out of town for a few weeks. Came back, car wasn't one bit dirtier, but there were major scratch marks in the area where the car cover contacted while either putting it on or taking it off.

Yeah, that stuff is dope. I ended up getting that whole bucket, the girl there made on offer that was hard to turn down... Its definitely the best ive ever used. I did a whole detail job the other day and it didnt even look like the same car. Best thing about it is the dust just wipes off, good wax they got in there.

I agree with everyone who says "F* it". I can't keep my car clean for anything. The fact that the only places to park at my apartment are either under trees, in the path of sprinklers, or both only makes me care less.

If you don't have a garage, buy the top quality car cover from Auto Zone, Pep Boys, whatever. It's the one that protects from UV rays, dust, and is water proof against light rain. It's right around $100 but worth it. Then all you need to do is just dust the car occasionally and quick detail it every now and then. It will stay looking nice for a while with this method.
That's what I used to do with my old cars before I started parking in the garage.

Dirty cover maybe I just say screw it my car was in 29 palms for 3 years and there is no way to keep it clean or keep it from getting sand blasted and a car cover just acts like a DA sander so I just kept a good coat of wax on it
