I was leaning more towards a new one because I am not confident on rebuilds. But I need a tranny soon, and my funds do not allow for a 2K dollar purchase at this very moment.

I would be satisfied with a good condition tranny with OEM parts.

Where are you located? It's from a 94 F-body?

I've got one from a 94 z28 in my shed. Had 72k on it and the front seal went bad on it.

I swapped to a t56 and it has sat ever since. New gaskets or a basic refresh would get it going again.

Let me know if you are interested. I'm in San Diego.

$40 and it's yours.

Thanks for the reply. I am looking for a lower mileage tranny that is in good working condition. I have already ran into the same problems as you with my existing tranny.

What ever you can get all the pieces for...

T56
Bell Housing
M6 Transmission Crossmember
Shifter
Flywheel
Clutch
Master Cylinder
Slave Cylinder
Pilot Bearing
M6 Pedal Assembly
M6 Center Console
Some Crimps, Wire, Brake Fluid, Cutoff Wheel
You also need a pig tail, I don't remember exactly but I think its the one for the reverse lights or maybe the reverse lockout solenoid.

The swap costed me 3100 BUT I have a shop and did all the labor. Plus all my parts were new so I probably could have done it for cheaper had I gone with used parts
