Default Lt1 T56 --> Ls1 T56

Anyone know of a good transmission shop that can convert a LT1 T56 into a LS1 T56 (swap the input shaft, front plate, etc)? Any guesses on how much that would run? Thanks.

It is possible, people have done it, you just have to change the input shaft and front plate. i would do it but you have to be sure to set the end play correctly and shim the front bearing races properly. There's something else about the pocket bearing depth between the main shaft and input. I don't want to mess anything up. And its still just an idea.
