Question Can anyone help me fix my window tonight?

So i noticed that my car has impeccable timing on when it wants to have a window failure. My window only goes up 95% and i need it ALL the way up. The motor is strong, but i just think it popped of the track.

I wouldn't even have the faintest idea on hos to fix it if it's off.

Anyone free tonight to possibly help me out?

Oh, i'm in burbank, by the way.

Thanks fellas!

I hope you don't need a new window regulator.

Some of the rivets in the window regulator are held by a small amount of metal in corners and they have been known to crack. No idea if that's your problem. Does the window have excessive back and forth movement? Does it stay level while moving up and down?

it stays level going up and down.....it almost feels like it slipped off the pinion gear that raises the window. It rolls down past the top of the door, and doesn't go far enough, and it's at the end of its travel.

It must be the season of window failures. Mine wouldn't roll up 2 weeks ago. I had to have the regulator replaced. I found a shop in Riverside that fixed it in about an hour for $200.

You might as well install the AutoTrix Window Fix Kit from the ws6store while your in there. It will make sure your window motor does not die prematurely
