I do hope all the McCain-Palin supporters will do the right thing and stand by their convictions against socialism, give up their Social Security, Medicare or Medicaid payments; refuse all and any help by the police, fire department or Parkland; throw away their library cards, i.e., any socialist-leaning programs; and be totally self-sufficient, in the present conservative way.

The wealthiest 2% of families will have to give back a portion of the tax cuts they have received over the past eight years to ensure we are restoring fairness and returning to fiscal responsibility. But no family will pay higher tax rates than they would have paid in the 1990s. In fact, dividend rates would be 39 percent lower than what President Bush proposed in his 2001 tax cut.

Now is the time to pressure Iran directly to change their troubling behavior. Obama and Biden would offer the Iranian regime a choice. If Iran abandons its nuclear program and support for terrorism, we will offer incentives like membership in the World Trade Organization, economic investments, and a move toward normal diplomatic relations. If Iran continues its troubling behavior, we will step up our economic pressure and political isolation. War is, and always should be, the very last resort.
The United States is trapped by the Bush-Cheney approach to diplomacy that refuses to talk to leaders we don't like. Not talking doesn't make us look tough – it makes us look arrogant, it denies us opportunities to make progress, and it makes it harder for America to rally international support for our leadership.

I forgive you.

That's about the most socialist-leaning action I've seen recently.
"Socialism" is just the wannabe scary word of the present time, just like "terror" was during the last election. It's a way to put fear in the uneducated and get them to react a certain way.
