obama wins

I actually like Obama's plans for Gov. (except him being Anti-gun) But Voted McCain due to the fact I am a republican.

Wow, some of you retards are absolutely astounding. I'm amazed you can breathe without ******* it up. Obama is no more socialist than McCain. He'll take away no more rights than McCain would. The "civilian who works for the military" will still have a job unless he ***** it up (which seems entirely possible) and those of us in the military will still be very much employed. Those of you who are calling for Obama to be assassinated are extra special. I'm sure none of you are voting age, but if the only thing you have to argue a persons policies is outdated talking points and racial epithets, maybe you should reevaluate your view on life.
Also, those of us in the Corps can stop babysitting the army in Iraq and finally finish what we started in Afghanistan.
All that being said, I didn't support either of the media-appointed candidates.

all we can do is have the faith as an american that he will do us well. i dont hate him cause of race, i dont hate him cause of political preference, i dont hate him at all. I just didnt feel he was best for the job. but only way to find out is to wait till the first 4 years are up. its definitely going to be interesting. i dont wish death upon him, i hope for the best of his well being, as well and more importantly the well being of our country.

Just remember: The Marines kick in the door and kill everyone. The army sets up the BX.

Already out thanks! But I will give you this I did take alot of heat for defending bush, but that was because I believed in him, and still do.
I look at it like this, yes I took an oath while I was still in to obey the orders of the the officers appointed over me yada yada yada and the president, but more importantly the oath says protect the constitution of the united states against all enemies both foreign and domestic-seems to describe obama pretty well.
You know you can be in the military, follow orders and take initiative in the absence of orders and all that, but still have an opinion. Mine is against obama, yours is for. I dont think its wrong for you to defend him if you believe in him, I think its wrong for you to defend him just because hes the the president elect.
Shame on me? Shame on you for being an automaton.

No see I remember the army taking baghdad, and holding it, and not being kicked out of it! I also remember Living in camp Fallujah because instead of going to sadr city we were re-routed because the marines couldnt handle the hadj and needed our tanks, helicopters, artillery, manpower, firepower etc...

And then this:
How is Obama an enemy of the US? It seems to me that if we really cared all that much about defending the Constitution, we'd have had the Whitehouse under siege for the last several years. No one has done as much damage to our Constitution and way of life as Bush has. If ever there was a domestic enemy, he fits the bill.

Good point outside of the fact that you are wrong about me. Congrats on being out... I'm going to follow. But while I'm in, I'll defend my Commander. A lot of Americans support him... whether they should or not. We also have to protect them. If I won't defend him, then I shouldn't protect them. Just not right in my opinion. It puts me in a bad position but after weighing my options, I choose to support my Commander. I'm sure you understand where I'm coming from... so I'm not going to return the insult.
Your decision is made on rational thought, where mine is based on emotion, for that I salute you. Where as I may not agree with your opinion I understand why you came to it.
