Picked up my new LT1 today...

This thing is ridiculously clean. The pic doesn't do it justice, everything is damn near new! The motor has 30k original miles, but it doesn't even looked like it was ever driven. I looked inside the TB and there is not a spec of crud anywhere, popped off the valve covers and they are spotless, removed the sparkplugs and they look new. The motor turns over by hand easily. Needless to say I am happy. I should be getting a cam kit in a couple of weeks.

No, I got the motor from a guy who pulled that motor out and kept it in storage for a hotrod project. Now he is changing plans and going with a BBC. I could take my motor out of my '97 SS and pressure spray it all day and it wouldn't come out as clean as this motor. The engine looks brand new, inside and out. Thanks for the heads up though.
