Nope. They are basically a 2001 Cobra wearing different clothes. 4.6 dual cam motor. They usually run door to door, mod for mod with an LS1.

Hell, right after I just had my car tuned and I was making 340/360 on the dyno, I had a good run with one on the freeway. It was a stand-still race. Nobody was pulling anybody. They can be quite quick.

A fool and his money are soon parted! With that said NOBODY is coming from that far away to race cars as slow as the ones you guys have, sorry if that hurts your feelers but its true.

Its either total bullshit or theres much more to it than your aware of..........

Why would someone drive across country to race over and argument on street fire with bolt on cars?

Well everyone else said it and ill say it again...he knows alot more than he is telling you. For $20, yea race him and see, for $1000 you better be sure you can take him by a few lengths because he is faster than he is telling you.

Ive raced bolt on Machs and they are nothing like GTs. I think hes going to be a very close match for you IF he doenst have any secrets.

He as in the Mach1 or He as in the op?

Bolt ons is a very general statement, especially when describing a car for money, I can tell someone I have bolt ons becasue the cam, heads, intake, 9" it all bolts in place.

IMO and im not a Ford guy, if this other guy can drive the op will have his hands full, thats if this guy actually is bolt ons(meaning no larger cams, no gears, ect.)

1 chicken = an 8 piece bucket.

On topic, doesn't it sound odd that a guy with around a grand in mods wants to bet a grand on a race? Why not put it in your vehicle? That would raise a red flag for me.

he as in OP....

no bolt ons are not cam.. thats internal work... heads are not considered bolt ons...

if the op just has what is listed.. and the mach has what is considered by the majority to be "full bolt ons".. he is going to lose..
