Just Moved to AZ
The cameras on the 101 (i'm not sure about the other highways) take a picture of you and the license plate at 11mph over the speed limit. So if you are at 10 over you should be safe (I set my cruise for 9 over to be extra safe lol). The ticket will be mailed to your house but you don't have to do anything unless you get served in person. It sucks though because traffic will be moving along at about 5 over and as soon as one person sees the camera everyone has to slam on their brakes and go 5 under the speed limit. The cameras just cause a lot of congestion and accidents.
I haven't been on the 101 lately, but I know once you got into the north scottsdale area they popped up.. I hear there's more now plus construction still.
But there's 3 on the 60 heading west from right around gilbert up. None on 60 heading east yet.
And if you go onto the 10 west/east and head to/from phoenix, there all over the place.. I even saw one all nonchalantly on a light pole on the left side. At least 4 heading to about 35th st.

However, remember they can serve you by Mail if you sign for it, return receipt certified mail.
Make no mistake tho, they will serve them in person. Just in August I know someone who went a bit late turning left through a red light, got caught in the intersection due to traffic and got photo. After not getting on top of the mailed ticket for a few weeks they came and served it to their door in person additionally. Traffic school for them.
