cool good luck with it. I picked up a 87 RX7 roller about 5 years ago and picked up an imported 97 TT RX7 front clip to swap in there but was in way over my head and sold everything and took a hit. Well I see u mentioned u need a radiator well i have a Griffin alluminum radiator for sale. Let me know if interested.

Good Luck. I love this conversion.

What are your plans to register the car and handle the smog inspection?

I saw someone at a meet that had a ls1 rx7, he had his tags but I forgot what he smogged his car as. There is a way but I don't recall what he told the smog ref.

Pick yourself up a Racing Beat Catalog and Mazda Trix for the suspension and other Misc stuff you might need.

Then we got a long road ahead. From all the research I have done about the swap it doesn't seem to difficult. The parts are there. We just gotta get the whole thing together.

Should be a pretty cool build, and I have talked to Brismo7 about the swap. Look for a build thread soon.

Anyone have a cheap *** LS1/T56 combo or know where one is at.
Looking to spend around $2500 for the engine and trans.

Sounds like a fun project. I usually see some LS1 motors and trans at the Pomona swap meet. It might be worth the drive for you. About a year ago a guy had a LS1 with an a4 for $2000 with 35,000mi on it. Pomona Swap Meet and Im sure you'll find the next date. Also, if needed I have stock LS1 heads assembled, C5 exhaust manifolds and x-pipe laying around the garage. Good luck.
