Default fuel filter question

just got back from the zone buying oil, and fuel filters caught my attention. im sure the guy who had this car never changed it, its at 80k miles so its probably due for one right? is there a special brand i need to get or should i just get one of those autozone ones?

my brother gets his mechanics discount so i think i get it for like 8 bucks? or 10. but i hear purolater filters are good at autozone, they use the purolaters on airplanes. but i remember opening up a fram fuel filter and a ac delco one and its shows clearly that the ac delco has more filter

It may free up some power since you havent changed it, if its the original it will probably be pretty bad.

AZ might have the limited slip additive... I got some there in a blue tapered squeeze bottle. Brand is Trans-X or something. It'll work... If that fuel filter hasn't been changed for 80k miles it's gonna **** chocolate..

It should leak some...a puddle, but not buckets, if that's what you mean. Did you remove your gas cap to depressurize the gas tank before you started?
