for your next time, use a small bead around the main light housing, then press the lens into the housing nice and tight. then put a VERY, very small bead around the outside where they join together and take your finger and smooth it out. i used the clear rtv so you can't really notice it.

can't you use some highly reflective mirror tinting? also, if there is window sales store or some place that does bathroom remodeling, they should be albe to replace the reflective part??

honestly i don't think its worth the trouble when people sell them for cheap all the time
