Default Bada$$ Brakes

Well heres whats being done:
- Front C5 Conversion to 12.8" Corvette rotors
- Front Rotorsonline drilled and slotted rotors
- Front C5 Z06 calipers (modified to say CAMARO
- Front Axxis Ultimate Pads
- Braided lines all around
- Rear Rotorsonline drilled and slotted rotors
- Paint rear calipers to match front
- Rear Axxis metal masters pads
- Flush of Brake fluid, replaced with DOT 4 racing fluid
- Rear 1" Billet studded spacers

the parts:





Front fronts (not done yet, still waiting to get my C5 Conversion brackets back)





Rear brakes (done)





Rear Spacers

thanks. I made a small thread a while ago but i wanted to make some progress before posting up any more. hopefully this well ill be able to finish it all up.

Thanks Dave, long time no see.

its more responsive, but the biggest difference will be when i get the fronts done. then I can seat the pads properly and do some testing.

thanks. cant wait to get the fronts done, theyll barely fit behind those wheels, but i know they do since they both came off the C5.

I got the camaro lettering from a buddy...i can get more for anyone interested.

yea i need to clean the wheels, but im too lazy right now.

Did you use LS1 lines or C5 lines? If you used LS1 lines, did you have to "modify" a bracket??

But most importantly... Are you happy with the new spacers?

well i havnt put on the brackets yet so not sure what/if I will have to do anything about the lines. I used LS1 lines.

the spacers work great. i didnt really get on it so i dont know what i would feel. im a littel worried about bottoming out and the tires hitting the rear fenders. I might need ot get them rolled.

update, i FINALLY got the fronts finished. I was waiting on my front C5 conversion brackets. very tight fit.

Lol yeahh right man you know how I do the master tech has gotta step in every now and then. HAHAHAHAHAHA. Nahh good stuff though man I was surprised Mikes garage didn't start to smell of bad gas and the sarcasm was turned way up for this one.
