Default looking for a tune

Anyone willing to come to my house and plug a basic tune into my pcm so it will idle with the new motor? I just swapped a 99 LS1 for a 2001 LS6 with TSP 224R cam, it runs but won't idle without stalling and I need it to be good enough to get it by for a week or two until I can get it dyno tuned. I live in chula vista (91910), I'll pay any reasonable price. If someone is willing to hook me up shoot me a PM.

if you can bring the pcm to me i can give you a base tune, for $100 dollars, and if you come back later for the tune i will apply that $100 to the price of the tune

If you brought the EMC down you could get it back in a matter of min. for a base line and then get it dyno tuned when you get a chance.

Well, my roommate took the computer up to CMS today and got a baseline tune put in, thanks a lot guys. Car starts but won't run at all still so I don't know where to go. No vacuum leaks or fuel problems, I guess I'll have to look at it tomorrow in the daylight.

It starts and it will run for a bit if I pedal it. I tried adjusting the idle set screw but it got too much slack in the cable so I had to back it down a little. I was thinking about it, the car need to "learn" to idle again, maybe its just too cold outside. I don't want to try to run the rpms too high to get it warmer right now because all my neighbors are sleeping and its open headers.

ok i gave you a pretty basic tune for your 224 tune that works on 9 out of 10 cars, but you may just need to bring me the car, and i will take care of the issue for you

Much easier said than done, my schedule... well.. sucks. You will definitely see it soon for a full tune but it needs to move under its own power first. It would cost and arm and a leg to tow that all the way up there. Tomorrow I am going to try and run it until it warms up and see what happens, plus get the exhaust attached my neighbors don't bomb my car.

drill a bigger hole in the TB that may help as well, it sounds like band aiding but since you need to idle right now, it may help you

I might try it, I know you guys know your **** so I'm guessing I messed something up or I just didn't get it warm enough. Then again, it may need more work since the tune that was on it before is pretty weird.

Got it running. The brake booster hose came off the back of the intake. I'll post up a vid a little later.
