if it's leaded if will mess up your 02's also the higher the octane the slower it will burn up. Why are you using 110 octane for?

It shouldn't do anything to your plugs or mess up you car, It will however **** your cats up. I does mess a little with 02's but thats after prolonged use. I ran for about three months straight on my race tune and it didn't hurt anything.

it wouldn't hurt your plugs. How much did you put in your car and why, do you tune your own car?

It's probably your o2's. I added 2 gallons of VP110 (leaded) to my tank 3/4 full tank and by the 1/2 tank mark the SES light was on with a code for the o2's. The leded gas screwed them up in no time!

I think the highest unleaded gas that you can buy is 109 but I may be wrong. It sounds like your o2's may be bad now. Can you check the place where you purchased the gas to see if the 110 gas was leaded or not.

dude you don't need to be using that it does not make your car faster lol. . Higher octane lets you up your timing without detonation. save your money next time

First of all, 110 is unleaded. 112 and up is leaded, so it shouldnt affect your cats but it will burna little hotter and the o2's may not like it if the cars not tuned for it. If you run that octane on most cars you wont even feel a difference since the car doesnt need that much octane. Too much octane can make you lose a little power actually. Fill the car up with 91 and see how it acts. You should be alright. My compresion is 11.2:1 and I only boost up the octane in hotter weather to avoid detonation so you really shouldnt need it. If you want a little more of an octane boost I suggest some NOS Octane Booster (race formula). It works pretty good if all you need is a jump from 91 to around 93-94. trust me, even just 93 octane is a big difference.

wow... first of all 110 is leaded

and second, if you knew what you were talking about, higher octane burns slower and COOLER than Low octane, thus higher cylinder pressures can be achieved without detonation.

danny, that fuel may have fouled out a plug or two, the reason being, you stock motor didnt burn all the fuel,, check the plugs, probably a good time to replace them anyways.
