Well to all of that dont know. It is a High flow lid. looks like a stock one. But it is not. They are very rare only made about 800 or so. They do not have the fitment problems that the regular slp ones do. You know how they crack and rub against the hood? Well this one doesnt do that. I bought a regular slp one my hood kept hitting it and it cracked. So a friend recommended it and I love it. I know they are pricey but I feel well worth it.

great fitment and a stock look. i went through a couple aftermarket lids and they never sealed up right. i don't see how it could flow any better than any other aftermarket lid.

i have a clear lid looks great and shows my "hidden" nitrous nozzle, but i usually want to keep a low profile if i have to pop the hood.

I tihnk the Blackwing lid would be nice for when you take your car in to be smogged, and when they inspect it, they will see a factory lid. they might not look any further once they see that.

The smog place didn't look twice at my SLP lid. I did have the AIR hose hooked up properly though. I am pretty sure they really don't care about anything before the MAF as long as the all the hoses are connected.

You are all missing the point.. it is RARE, it isn't about better airflow. They only came on 345hp SS's and high option WS6's and formulas. You could also buy them for a short time, but they aren't made any longer making them very desirable..
