Not True this is straight from their website...

Tires: Approved racing slicks are permitted, as well as street legal DOT approved treaded tires, front and rear required on all vehicles. Tires will be inspected for overall condition.

They haven't updated the website yet. We already had people call them and they confirmed that there would only be DOT approved tires allowed.
