Generally we have been having this meet at 7:30 and then have been doing cruises afterward, but we're going to switch it up this month. We are planning to meet at the parking lot across the street from Nick's at 4:00 p.m. and then go on a cruise for a couple hours. We are then planning on ending up back at Nick's between 6 and 6:30 where we will have the meet and eat dinner.

The official meet will start at 6:30 this month. The food at Nick's is pretty good and we can just hang out there until everyone feels like leaving. We are going to go test drive some cruise routes this Sunday, and I'll post up the exact directions for the cruise part this Monday. If anyone has any suggestions please post them up in this thread.

Also, for anyone interested we are doing a dyno day before our next meet on February 21st. The details for that meet are here. If anyone wants to dyno, I am requiring that you sign up here in advance. You must be a registered user to sign up. does anybody do anything around the san fran/sacrcmento area? i never hear about anything going on up here, i can't wait to get back down to san diego

 

I could ask I got some buddies with some fast cars up there, one guy has a 2000 gt built engine with a s/c on it and an 03 cobra with all bolts ons meth inj. and i think a really low pulley, another buddy has an 86 t-bird turbo coupe 2.3T with a 5 speed and he runs I believe either low 11's or high 10's.

Ohh and the guy with the stangs was stationed in japan for six years and also bought out there a single turbo full bolt on r33 skyline too and had that brought back with him from japan. don't know if it's registered here or not but still kick ***.

No, not a night cruise. We're cruising during the day and using Nick's as a final stop. Cruising at night has proven difficult and it's tough to come up with good destinations.

 

That would defeat the purpose of going to a car meet

If you can make our dyno day though before the meet in February, I'd love to see what your car is putting out.

 

Here is the route that we are taking for the cruise. My buddy pre-ran the route and said it's a lot of fun with some great twisty areas. We are going to meet at Nick's at 4:00p.m. and leave on the cruise hopefully by 4:30. This should get us back in plenty of time for the meet at 6:30. See you guys there

I'll see if some of the Alhambra GTG guys wanna go to this. I think some people might be racing in Fontana that day though because the next 1/4mi street legals aint till March.

 

We might actually be out at the street legal drags during the morning taping some runs. We'll see.
