LS1 FBody or C5 Brakes
LS1 FBody or C5 Brakes I have a 1994 Z28 and want to do a brake upgrade. I'm pretty sure everyone will say the C5 brakes are the better of the two, but by how much? Will the braking distances be that much of a difference, and which will be an easier install? Thanks.

Quick answer is that the LS1 brake conversion will be much cheaper and will yeild a very noticeable increase in braking.
It is pretty straight-forward.
You need to use the LS1 spindles with the LS1 calipers. The '98+ V6 Camaros/Firebirds should have the same brakes if I am not mistaken.
Your best bet is to get the whole assembly together...spindles w/ calipers and rotors attached. They can be had for decent prices. I bought a set that I pulled off of a car at a junkyard for $150.
