got my SES codes. need help. ok so my SES light has been on since i bought the car. didnt think nething of it. got the codes "cleared" or so i thought. well it came back because it didnt fix ****. ive been lookin on here for what the codes mean and what to do to fix them BUT quite frankly i dont know what any of it means. call me dumb,newb watever. if u can explain it in a simple way id appreciate it.
ok so heres the codes. any help on fixin this **** would b greatly appreciated
p0410 "secondary air injection system"
p0420 catalyc converter bank 1
p012tps? "pedals position sensor a? (the guy couldnt ****** speak english AT ALL )
p013 o2 sensor bank 1 sensor 2
and p080, he said it had something to do with my gears? i dont kno exactly wat he said but thats wat i could understand.
plz tell me it wont cost 4562362435 dollars to fixxxx

p0410 "secondary air injection system" could very simply be the Black A.I.R. check valve near the passenger side valve cover (coming up from the exhaust manifolds). You'll need a 3/4 wrench and a 1" wrench. swap it with the left side. if the code changes to primary air injection system you know its bad.
Some people have luch spraying WD-40 and/or carb cleaner in there. You can buy new ones at autozone
