I agree and named 3 people one from the senate, congress and executive branch. Bush has the most individual power. Although the dems have really screwed up things since 06 when they took over.

Like I said before I still can give some of the blame to Bush since he bragged about home ownership and didn't make enough of a stink about low interest rates and banking regulation.

i blame the banks and lack of education (would be the best wording) of the people taking out loans outside their means.

I am no republican my party abandoned me many years ago when they started to cater to the left and look where they ended up.
Most of the dems seemed to be pretty uneducated when I talk to them. Obama and McCain were for the bailout. I voted Allen Key's who was a independent who was against the bailout and also happened to be black.

Mccain was the Kerry of the republican party and unelectable. They threw the good candidate Mr.Romney or even Huckabee under the bus.

Both parties have been bought and sold as you pointed out are not in the best interest of the people.

Sure blame the banks there was greed there but they were also sued by groups like Acorn if they didn't give out these to people that had no means to pay them. Everyone was influenced by interest only arms and the 10% a month when housing prices rose. A friend of mine purchased a condo in Corona in 1/07. He took home $2800.00 a month. His payment was $2800.00 a month I just shook my head. His condo is now in foreclosure.

Got my 401k statement this week. Lost enough from 1/08 to 12/08 to buy a new car.

I don't care who's fault it is, I just want a solution. We can blame the guy(s) who are responsible when we all have jobs and can look back on this time as a mere bump in the road.

Right now, we spend more time blaming each other than fixing the problem.

well it might be worthless in your eyes but it shows the ups and downs pretty well which i used to make my point. That is the actual pattern of the stock market for the past few years wether you believe it or not.

oh i remember your *** now...you were the dude that got his panties in a bunch because in another thread i said that if the economy went to **** it wouldn't affect me at all and that college was worthless for what it was

considering my account was opened w/ less than 10K...i "work" 2-3hrs a day and i'm left over w/ 50 grand after bills and **** i would say it ain't bad at all...specially since i've been doing it for what? 6 months? ::sigh:: guess i was right LOL

as for the ZO6 it'll be here in due time...i'm only 23 theres plenty of time for that, i want to secure my future as well as my parents and a new sports car would be a step in the wrong direction.

What a great memory, search is your friend, huh.

Why not work 4-6 hours a day and double your money?

Concerning the Z06, just checking on your progress. I was going by your comments about the "gold mine" you found. I thought you would be wealthy by now considering how confident you were 4 months ago. I'm really sorry if I stepped on a nerve.

why not work 4-6hrs? becuase the market peaks at certain hrs of the day...for example 6:30 to 8 or 9am usually makes for some good trades...specially this month since the Yen has skyrockted and the Euro has been in decline. Nasdaq on the other hand has been bad for weeks now.

Whether you believe this is a gold mine or not is for you to decide and its solely your opinion. In my experience its certainly so...some people are just afraid to think outside the box

I'm well aware of the money that can be made. As a matter of fact, being from Chicago, I know more than a few people that are very wealthy doing what your trying to do. BTW, it's hardly thinking out of the box. Nor is it the only way to make big money. Just remember, easy come, easy go.

my bro can relate to u...he had 12k in his nordstrom 401k and now has 7.5...i mean 4.5k isnt enough to outright buy a new car...but could could be a down payment

and the blame game is overkill...what r we going to do about 'should' be the outlook instead of pointing fingers...
