I live in the bay area and don't have front plates, no problems yet.

 

I had 3 or 4 tickets on my last car for no plates. on the front one cop was saying how if I went through a red light that the camera wouldn't be able to get me. I said yes it can my plate is in the window and a buddy of mine got tagged by the camera and you could see his face clear as day. So you can see the plate numbers. He didn't like the argument. ******* cops.

 

i don't get hassled about it (then again my car is registered in OK).

 

in ky(lets here the redneck bullshit) i have 2 friends that have drove around for almost 3 weeks without one period lol. but i get pulled over in the grocery store parking lot because my license plate wasnt lit enough wtf is that about but we are one state that doesnt require a front plate

 

they have tried to tell me that I have to do it, then I point at my IL plates and grin... cop fail.

 

ya online petitions are a joke. think about it, one person can go on a sign over and over and over.

even real petitions don't really do much, just spark up some interest.

 

id hate to say it but this is all for not. waste of time .
