and if u didn't want opinions, dont post up pics... simple as that

the only difference here is the most of us know 99blownSS... and we know he is a cool cat... so he gets defended...

but botom line is... if u cant take criticism, then dont post(or allow others to take/post) up pictures of ur rides...

and that silver/black slp grill looks sick bro
Totally agree, I usually dont post up if I dont like some ones car. Or if I criticize I'm not a dick about it.

damn this thread really blew up.

Ill admit, i was hating on the vents a year ago at the Irvine meet (or after), but now my opinion has changed. not that i like the vents any more or less, but the car is for real (not a beat *** V6 trying to look cool) and the owner is cool. that makes a world of difference.

EDIT: not saying that all V6 fbodies are beat, but ive seen some in horrible shape running around with similar vents.

Clean don't mean a thing if you ain't got no go go in your car. I would take a procharged LS1 over the cleanest LS1 any day. Even though mine is super clean too. hehe. I am for go not show well sorta show but whats the point of having a bad *** car that you drive if you can't enjoy it.

breaking?? hmmm well then sounds like an inconsistant setup, also when modifying you do run that chance of something breaking because well it's modified you are more than likely getting on it a bit more than a normal driver.

I love the fbodies but they were meant to go, hell the 350 or 5.7L engines are undeniably one of the few best engines built, but each person has their own tastes and has their own vision of their car so.... live and let live.

Yah modded cars are always broke..inconsistant setup? modded doesnt mean inconsistant just makes it alot more unreliable thats all.

Well it doesn't mean unreliable just like sometimes you get pants that have a slightly longer pant leg than the other not a hug issue till the longer leg catches on something and you fall. So small imperfections on head work could cause issues. Not that this really happens but hey... Most of what I was thinking but for some reason my brain didn't get it across was the more modified the more you driver hard, which even with the best conditions in the world puts a lot of strain on an engine. I love it though and wouldn't want any other hobby or love for something.

Nooo you gotta go for at least one more time for good luck... Sorry man sarcasm.

I would say a chevy small block possibly it doesn't look like a flathead v8. but then again it is hard to see with the tire in view, but with the setup of the intake manifold sitting so high I would rule it as a small block of some sort, most likely a chevy engine.
