question for uti students (avondale campus)
I am into a project that I have never done before and i might be in over my head.
I have a friend with an 06 mazda 3 dohc 2.0 4 cylinder
ran it out of oil and snapped a camshaft
I need to replace the head and cams.
anyone wanna come help on sunday lol.... i havent dealt with any dohc motors and would appreciate some help if its available.

i know that their is a decent chance and risk that the main bearings might be toast.
I just a little bit ago that the car wasnt completely out of oil. they showed me what was drained out of it and it looks like about 3 qts.
i know that when the cam snapped that the car died then. it was the cam that has the timing reference on the end of it so when the cam snapped it lost its timing reference.
