Prescott AZ
no drag strip, you will have to drive down to speeworld to run.
cold (snow)in winter, yet perfect mid temps in summer. lots of canyons to run if you have a bike?
more of a retirement town.
There is Prescott Valley Raceway (dirt track) but I haven't ever personally been there. Here is a link to there website. http://www.pvraceway.com/ And a link for a list of all the tracks in Arizona. http://www.chasinracin.com/track-loc...ion=1&state=AZ Speedworld (northwest area) and Firebird (southeast area) are the two main drag strips here in Phoenix.
Weather there is relatively normal doesn't really get as hot as it does in Phoenix because of the higher elevation but it does occasionally drop below freezing for the same reason. Here is a link to the average monthly highs and lows for temp. http://www.answers.com/topic/prescott-arizona#Climate
Here is the website for Prescott College. http://www.prescott.edu/ I haven't ever really heard about it because most of the people I know who live up north go to NAU (http://home.nau.edu/), but that is in Flagstaff.
I hope you get the information you are looking for! And good luck with the move if it happens!

I like the area for what I have seen from pictures and reading on it, but I just need to make sure there are areas to hunt haha, and I mean cars =).
