Caravan to Ocenside Show 2-22-09, SGV area Hey there guys. As most of you know there is gonna be a big carshow/bbq/dyno shootout in Oceanside on the 22nd of this month. There is a group of us in the San Gabriel Valley area that are planning to caravan there that day. For now I was thinking of meeting up at the West Covina Mall in front of Bobs Big Boy off the Vincent Ave exit of the 10freeway. I will be there by 10:30 and would like to roll out between 11-11:15am since Oceanside is a nice drive and we need to be there by 1pm. West Covina should be in between where most of the Alhambra GTG guys live. We can either go E10 to the 15 or 57 to the 5, I will try to plan the best route according to traffic but Sunday mornings arent too bad. Everyone is welcomed to join us. So far about 15 or more cars are planning to go, should be fun. If you havent signed up yet for the event, hurry, there isnt many spots left. I put the CorvetteForum link since it has a good updated list of the events and people going. Let us know if you wanna join us.

This event will be held on FEBRUARY 22nd, 2009 AT THE SATURN OF WEST 78 DEALERSHIP. The address for this event is 2205 Vista Way, Oceanside, California, 92056. This event starts at 2:00pm and will end at 9:00 pm.
The BEER GARDEN has been CANCELLED for this event. The amount of time and effort the city of Oceanside requires has been deemed too much. We WILL be SERVING FREE ALCOHOL with a donation given to the WOUNDED WARRIORS CHARITY.
Remember, this event is FREE to attend. The food and drinks are free along with the Dyno Shootout and Best of Show Contest. This is a family event so lets keep it this way. NO OFFENSIVE BEHAVIOR WILL BE TOLERATED!

sweet! West covina mall just down the road. Finally a caravan from the sgv...one more reason why i should go. How long is the drive there from sgv. One thing though I dont want to get lost on the way back never driven around that area.

yea cause the drive from kohls to bobs big boy was supposed to take 35min . . . and we made it there in 15 min lol with traffic!!!

Im down to cruise with you guys, I was hopin there would be one a bit closer to glendale but oh well. Could you post the address of where were gonna meet so I know exactly where to go? Thanks.
