Hey whats up buddy,

Thanks for the bump.

What time are you guys going to be at Bobs ?

My car is running, just not the way I like, clutch slips in 5th/6th if I jump on it at lower RPMs.

So I've been working on this MN12 in my spare time. I'll also be putting in a new clutch and the works.

We usually get there about 10pm, my car is still down too, my tranny only has two gears still, I am getting very close to purchasing a new tranny and torque converter.

I thought automatics were supossed to be bullet proof.

I wish I knew a good source for autos on these cars.

I would think someone local or a sponsor on here ?

Well yes and no, my car had 50k on it when I bought it 12/4/08, it had been sitting for almost 2 years at an auction lot before the dealer I bought it from acquired it. My rear end went 3 weeks after getting it, horrible wear on it, meaning that it sat and someone had some fun with it before me. Second the tranny went mostly from probably never being serviced. Ohh well.

I am going with auto parts firm tranny that they get from xtreme performance tranny's they are one of the most recommended transmission shops and for the price they are unbeatable.

That makes sense as no piece of equipment is bullet proof if it sits long enough, abused or lack of maintaince. 50K isn't to bad for mileage all in all.

I don't think you'll go wrong with auto parts firm and xtreme performance.
Once you get your new converter and tranny, you should be good to go for the duration.

I hear that. I put seals and bearings in my 10 bolt recently.

When 12 bolt time comes around, I'll go for a Strange 4 channel.

I have the SLP reverse logic. My traction control is off unless I turn it on.
My bird isn't a daily driver so I never drive in the rain.
