Although not as interesting as your story, I had a 3 hr. love fest doing plugs on my Durango. I thought for sure some of them were going to snap off, but I got lucky.

Hope it all works out for you.

you guys did Ryne, I saw some on there... although there wasn't much

I made sure to cake that **** on there this time!

also found out why we "might" have always had issues with my idle and just all around tuning my car... when we pulled the intake manifold off, those little button head bolts that hold that "porting plate" onto the bottom of the intake... there's like probably 15 of them i'm guessing... well 6 were missing and 4 were just chilling in my valley cover just laying there lol... must have vibrated out or something... I'm gonna put some new gasket around that and lock-tite those bolts in there good... I'm thinking that might have been causing some sort of vacuum leak...

I also am hoping that maybe the sparkplugs were "semi-cracked" already giving me my sputtering problems at WOT... some guys are mentioning putting in the TR6's? what do you guys think? I bought TR55's but can swap em out still since i haven't installed them yet...

gonna be making a trip to the machine shop, for the head, probably wednesday....

you dont need alot of anti-seize, but regardless send me a Pm of the price of the repairs on the machine shop i will take care of it and pay you back, i will as well pay for the plugs/gaskets and what not.... even though this is most likely not our fault i want to take care of you on this. as far as plugs if your not going to spray it, stick with the tr55's

NO WAY MAN! I couldn't do that... But thanks for the offer Ryne! See guys! ^^^That's customer service!!

no... spray isn't going to ever touch this car.

And just so things are straight everyone... I'm not blaming this on CMS in any way. If that's the way it was coming across, that's not how it was meant... so many factors could have made this problem arise, who knows what it was. In the end, I gotta buddy whose helping me with the labor no charge. So that's saving my *** pretty good, and I'm getting good first hand experience outa this as well...

how's that sound...?

yea... i get those acussations a lot. But honestly this isn't the first time Ryne's offered to pay for "this" or "that"... I'm out of state, so a lot of my stuff is really out of his hands in most cases. I make the occasional trip over to CMS every 4-6 months... but he usually only has the car for a couple of days, and in most cases needs it for longer to get things completely "right"... not really a big deal to me, as I don't drive the car much or hard anyways, and I'm moving back to SoCal around June-August anyways, so things will be easier then....

Wow... gotta admit thats the first time ive read that. If that isnt customer service, i dunno what is.

Normal shop actions are... hide, deny, and finally charge out the ***.

I always say customer service has gone to ****, but obviously there still some who know what it means.

it really depends on where I can get a job... I'm in the Visual effects/Film field... so I'm thinking SoCal somewhere...

previously I lived in Temecula from like 2000-2005 then San Diego from 2005-2007 then moved out here to AZ in '07 for the rest of my schooling...
