wasted t65 so i lost 3rd and 4th gear on my 98 z28. the gears seem to engage but as soon as i start to let up on the clutch the shifter pops back to neutral and it makes a loud grinding noise. this car is my daily driver so i need to fix this asap. anyone got a t56 for a good price or have a decent price on a rebuild? im kinda low on cash right now but i still wanna do it right. any input or info is appreciated thanks

looks like its between cms and xtreme i spoke to mark @ xtreme, and liked what he had to say, just waiting for cms to return my call, both of these shops come HIGHLY recommended and i wouldnt want to make a decision without hearing from them both.
same here for CMS. they rebuilt my T-56 and it is as strong as an Ox now. it took 600+ FT LB of torque like nothing. I can powershift the **** out of it now as well. though i haven't tried it on the nitrous due to a bunk *** window switch. it handles powershifts from 400+ RWHP NA, all day without hesitation. they do great work up there. im sure who ever you choose will be a good decision. im in for CMS, and have heard great things about Xtreme as well
