FTRA in the heat???
#2
i ran the ssra in the heat and coolant temps would do 230-235 especially with the AC going. ssra was supposed to be better the ftra as its not metal.
i noticed the car was running a little sluggish - i have it pull timing when things get too hot to avoid detonation. then i decided to log it... i took it off immediately and car ran normal.
this is before the stall and with a 160 degree thermostat too...
that said.. my ssra is for sale if anyone wants one

mine seems to run just fine with my FTRA. Either way I think the under the hood temp would be hotter than what the FTRA is going to pick up once your car is moving. I could be wrong though...
