That's true. Make sure you document all your attempted phone calls and visits to them.

Soooo i finally got in contact with the guys from OCGMP because they had two peoples cars there that wanted to come to me, but i didnt have the time and i figured i would be nice and have Danny who has always been good, do the work, they were a new shop and i was just trying to help out.... all he had to do is a simple motor swap...... i have been really busy with other peoples cars and i am NOT the kind of guy who does shitty work or rushes ****! Needless to say he has had the cars for MONTHS! i am not the kind of guy who lets **** not get done, so now that i have a little time i have been going there and finishing the motor swap myself because Danny refuses to go back to the shop.. after MILLIONS of calls and messages, he has neglected to get back to me..... at about 7pm Eric showed up and got his motor and accessories.... good job buddy, now all that is left is to get your car tomorrow at 9am like the owner said. It seems if you want something done right, you do it yourself......... i was just being friendly and giving a new shop like OCGMP some work to make some money, and i guess Danny just didnt care.... he is usually such a great knowledgeable guy who would never **** anybody over, i guess something just went wrong.... I hope Danny gets on here and lets us all know what in the world is going on, he screws over his customers and the people who sign his paycheck!

Eric...... i hope everything goes god for you... let me know what happens......

I got a tip from a bird who flew by the shop around 520pm. The bird told me there was people in the shop. So I flew down there and found people in the shop. Long story short PD went in with me and watched as I pulled as much of my property that I could fit into two cars I had there. I left behind just my k member the whole car and some small misc. parts. Shop owner said that he would try to put the k member on so its tow-able and to be back tomorrow at 9am.

damn what a pain in the ***. im glad you got your car back... even if it's in pieces you still got your car back.

have you thought about just finishing the motor yourself or with some friends? i'm sure it's a lot easier with the motor already out of the car.

Damn this is crazy. When i lived in socal danny was one of my very good friends and i still talk to him now and then. Its been a few months since we have talked but i can't believe something like this would happen. He is a cool guy that always helped me when i was in need.

I'm glad you are getting everything taken care of OP because i know i would be ready to kill somebody if i was in your position. I'm suere CMS will get you on the road real soon. Good Luck

Until that date, it looks like you were expecting it to take that long.

I would say "why did you wait three months before making an attempt to pick it up, why not after 1 month?"

Now your going to have a police report, which he can send to the credit card company showing that this ***** went under with out fixing anything, and has been unavailable to contact by several different methods. Hopefully they overdraw all your money out of his account to **** him over.

This is a clear cut case. Work promised and not performed. The only thing he can dispute is maybe some of the parts you purchased but I doubt his documentation is in order so you will probley win that also. Be happy you put in on a credit card otherwise you would have to take him to small claims.

Read the whole thread and honestly im was surprised by what I read.

I just had a set of long tubes installed i beleive a few weeks ago by Danny himself went to the shop in the morning rolled out a couple hours later. Met him at a meet his shop was local and decided to try him out originally was going to CMS but had to cancel appointment.

My experience was alot different BUT i wanted to do some more work and have been trying to get a hold of him now i see why i havent received a return call.

Glad to see your handling it in the right way but it sucks none the less.

Today I got to OCGMP at 9am and some how my car was sitting outside of the shop with the k member on, and my tranny was sitting on the floor next to it. Shop was closed up, and one of the owners was there. He spoke with CMS, gave his info to them and agreed to paying the CMS bill. He said none of my parts were left in the shop and that I have all my property, Ill find out if that true once CMS gets in there. So AAA towed it out to CMS, and tomorrow Ill deliver all the parts I picked up on Wednesday.
