rack and pinion
rack and pinion what symptoms can i look for when the rack and pinion is going out. ask this cuse mine is hard to steer but the thing is i just changed the power steering pump yesterday, and now its worse all the lines are i the place they need to be. when i drive like the car steers hard to one side and when i try to correct it it does the same thing to the other side need help on this thx.
Where are you located? If I were you I'd take it to a shop. Here's something you can do yourself: jack up the front of the car, and wiggle each wheel with your hands. Twist them (towards you and away from you) left/right and top/bottom. There should be little to no play.
