Had some free time so I did some location scouting today (in my dad's car) and saw a bunch of F-bodies, so the interest should be there. Narrowed it down to two possible locations:

• McDonalds rear parking lot (behind the drive-thru window)
• Pizza Hut

The McDonalds is great because it is so close to gas and Jack in the Box, plus it is pretty secluded yet close to the main road. The Pizza Hut is nice because the lot is larger and you can easily see it from the street (could be good when the meet is just starting out). I'll need to do another run to check driveway access heights with my F-body.

McDonalds would be a perfect meet spot. It is within walking distance of gas, Autozone, and close to a bunch of restaurants if it's time to eat.

are you talking about the new or old autozone? the new one is down the street from mcdonalds.

i keep seeing more and more fbodys on base. today alone, i saw a hugger orange ss, the same color z28, a white ss, and the same black t/a i've seen for about a year now. i've never seen these before except the black t/a.

for the owner of the t/a (you revved at me when i passed you today) your **** looks/sounds good.

alright i've finally come to the conclusion that you are the owner of the t/a i see every now and then (in relation to my last post, i was the silver z28 that was driving on the main road around 11 today that you gave a rev to). saw a burnout vid you posted awhile back and realized.

hey everyone I am also in 29 palms and always see f-bodies...I have a black T/A with chrome zo6 rims and am down to meet with everyone I also roll around with a sky blue GTO, Black GTO and a Black Cobra so I was wondering if its f-body exclusive??

No its a coupe its a 96 I believe and yes both blue and black gto's have a ram air hood
