You def need to use some ET streets. I was able to lower my 1/8th mile time from 7.6 to 7.2 with just swithching from a 275 size nitto to a 26" Mickey. Your def gonna be fighting traction with those 4.10's of yours. Hopefully someone will let you borrow there set.

I'm soon to get some 4.10's and remove around 100 lbs from my car. I should be able to get my 1/8th into the 6's hopefully when thats done. That would be a very close race me and him. I've also never ran my car at irwindale with slicks. I know my car will do better at Irwindale than at Fontana because it always has hooked better and produced a better mph there.

i think you with 4.10s and weight reduction will be faster.. he is still a full weight car with AC and a 6 point cage...he is close to 3900 race weight...
yeah fontana prep sucks usually... we still havent taken his car out to a 1/4 mile track...so im a bit curious what it will do on the back half...

Except I have stage 1 heads with a stock valve plus my car is lowered and my motor only has 10.89 SC. I also have a slightly smaller cam than he does. Either way it should be a damn good race. I think I would run a 7.0-7.1 at irwindale if I was able to get good traction maybe faster if I take out my swaybar. We'll have to set them up one day

I'm not trying to take anything away from his setup. He seems to put down a good 60'/mph.
You guys should hit up the street legals this next saturday.

I'm just saying were not nearly identical as you say. I actually only made 490/472 last time on Ryne's dyno so he actually makes a little more power than me.
