looks like im not gonna be done in time.... someone jacked my heads last friday when i was out of the shop moving into my new house, and s&w sent me the wrong 10 point kit... the universe doesnt want me to finish this car...seems like ive had every setback imaginable... im mostly pissed about the heads, i put about 20 hours of work into em in the last week, just for sum jerk to walk off with em...

dont worry though man, when its done youll get a taste

nah ls gun has a pewter z28 on bogarts/hoosiers... thats an ls2 bottom end car

james has a white z28...stock wheels on small drag radials - cam only ls1 on a small unit.... i still havent dialed in the suspension on that car...hopefully invasion will allow a lot of runs, so we can finally figure it out... irwindale sucks *** lately...youll be lucky to get 3-4 runs in 6 hours

Have enough cars even signed up? Last I heard they needed 60+ cars or it would be canceled. Oh well, I just found out last week piston #7 is gone so its a rebuild for me. I'll be coming back strong but I was looking forward to running this weekend.

hey nate, i have a stock shortblock out of a 2000 camaro if your trying to get it up in a hurry... dont know the mileage, but you can still see a fair amount of crosshatching on the tops of the bores, so im positive its still in really good shape

Im registered and I am 90% sure Ill have it back up by then. Finals and Term Papers have been eating up all of my time these last few weeks.

Stock 140,000 mile 1998 bottom end, cam-only, stock 1998 unported 806 heads, stock gears, some suspension work, wolfe MS 6 point, 255 MT radials on a small unit. Barely dialing it in...

Might have my prostars on by then all depends on how much time I can invest...

10s! I dont think ill be hitting 10s buddy, no way in hell ill have time to install the n20, ill be lucky if my car is ready to run on the motor, and unless I can find some 15in prostars before saturday ill be on bald nittos and getting zero traction...Well have to make a run george, if I can get some tires it should be a nice run, if not it will still be fun.

I'll be going to the cruise not the track. HOPEFULLY I'll have the 89 done by then, I got it back form the paint shop and it looks AWESOME I just need to have time to put it back together, I've been super busy lately. If anything I'll have my car there tho. I actually wanna also take the 89 to the track one of these days too, it'll probably only do low 16's tho

new setup for me, just got my heads back today, having a hell of a time throwing these pac 1518s on. Should be running tomorrow, waiting on a PST shaft in the mail. Hopefully get it tuned at CMS later this week.

Ported AFR 210s
Ported LT4 manifold
Spec Stage 5 clutch
9" w/ 4.11s
No nitrous yet until I put some passes/miles on it. Maybe a safe 100 shot at the Invasion. Hoping for 13s
