Nobody showed? Damn. I was exhausted from canyon runs with Haddad and the 5th gen guys. Went to sleep at 3AM, woke up at 8AM, drove to the Cars 'n Coffee in Woodland Hills (it got shut down last weekend and the cops were telling people to GTFO by order of the property owner) met up with the 5th gens and Haddad in his G8, and went cruising @ 10AM on Mulholland and the other mountain/canyon roads in that area, including the Snake (I don't think the photographer got any pics of our cars because some old dude on a Harley had just crashed going around The Snake), cruised down to Neptune's for some lunch, then hit up PCH and Topanga/Old Topanga Canyon with the last remaining 5th gen (SS/RS). It was pretty funny because at the beginning of the cruise, Mike chased down a 99% custom widebody Lotus with his G8.

After the 5th gen and I ended up back at the Cars n Coffee location that we met at earlier, my relatives called and told me to drop on by - which was a mistake because I had no food all day (until 1hr before) and been running on adrenaline since 10AM (it was 4PM). Got there and pretty much collapsed and couldn't drive back home (I could have if I didn't get out of the car LOL). If you say I couldn't have been on an adrenaline high, well you try taking on those roads with bald front street tires.

Carlton - ROFL... When we install my trans cooler you are not to touch ANYTHING else... like my lower airbox... or air lid... and we won't use duct tape!!

hey you guys know anyone good with clutched just need help i put new one in and it makes weird noise somethings rubbing. i dont want to go to auto shop. i do must stuff from my house. anyone know who can help??

well thanks alot how much would you want because what i got to do is drop the transmission to get to the clutch. im fairly quick its mine thrid time doing this in 3 weeks. also would you have a floor jack i have on but i need to to lower transmisson. i was borrowing one before. thanks

 

i've got a small jack (not small like a spare tire jack) and a couple jack stands. i wouldn't charge anything, because i would just be a helping hand. haha. is the car drivable?

yeah it is but i dont drive it because i have a bolt rubbing my flywheel and its all brand new so i cant afford to ruin this flywheel ya know. i was also having trouble finding all the gears after it was back together

 

was gonna say if you could make it out to sunday meets i could bring the stuff with me. only problem is i wouldn't be able to help until mid this week. i had some stuff come up.


by the way, did anyone go last week? i know it's getting pretty dark early now
