315s overkill for me?

im not lowered. i have plenty of fender space. im going to try to find some 36mm offset wheels, and throw on some Sumitomos (i know they suck, but they are cheap and for a DD ive heard good things about them) or Nittos. if anyone has a pair of ZR1s let me know

I just put some 17"x11" zr1's out back wrapped with 315/35/17 Goodyear Eagle F1's. I am slammed on Sportlines/Koni's. I had to roll my rear fenders and hammer on the inside wheel well a little, no biggie. Looks f'ing sick. I do however have a full suspension so that does help with my traction...

Two things though I originally tried 36mm offets and they stuck out too much on the camaro fender and looked funny (supposedly fit better under Firebird fenders). I now run 50mm offset and they are flush with the fender. and the BFH mod is really easy, and an Adjustable PHB will definitely help. Not sure but since your not lowered you might be able to get away without the fender rolling.
I had the Sumitomos on my 315's originally and after about 3 months they loose ALL grip to the point of being almost scarry if you go anywhere near full throttle. If you can do $100 more per tire definitely consider the Nitto's over the Sumis.

315's here, My vert is lowered about 3/4 inch w/Nitto 555's and a BUNCH of other suspension mods, as others say the 315's looks badass, and combined with the susp. mods give the car tremendous grip in the turns.
