I've seen people snap a ds with street tires.
Now I just need to figure out my ideal launch rpm...

That was just a fluke thing I'm guessing.

I launched my 10bolt at 4000rpm on 26x11.5-16 ET Streets and it was fine.

You should be fine, those nittos spin pretty hard at irwindale for some reason.

Dont dump at all!!

Ease it out from about 3500 then when your all the way out floor it. With stick you need to easy it out at high RPM so it wont brake the tires loose.

Last time I ran at Fontana on MT DR's Eased it out at about 3500rpms. I need to try about 4000rpms next time to get a sub 2.0'

I've never pulled anything lower than a 2.08 in fear of the rear going "BOOM"

On good tires you can dump it. Although, you're right about the rear going boom, it can happen.

1.8-2.0 with a good launch. Every tenth off your 60' is a tenth of your ET. So its worth it.

Example: I ran 13.33 with a 2.16 60'
If I get my 60' down to 1.8 or so Im KNocking on 12's with no bolt ons!

He he he he he he he Just need more driver mods!!!! aka more behind the wheel launching on my DR's

Every tenth off the 60' is actually closer to 2 tenths in the 1/4 mile. It is around a tenth in the 1/8 though.
