THanks man. Yeah that picture looks bad but the merge is actually pretty smooth.

Yeah I have my reasons and mainly bc I dont wanna deal with smog crap later on down the road.

Well here is the card that came with my system. The very end is rather complicated to understand so I asked the rep. and he explained that any other random brand cats are illegal, but not Random tech. Thats why their cats are close to $300 per cat.

Nice set up I'm going the same route, glad to see someone take the plunge first, what shorties are you thin'n, Eldebrock, JBA ? Also did your cats/y come jet hot coated?

If intrested I happen to have a set of shorty headers.... PM me. By the way I like the set up. I'm running the same except that I still have the stock cat's with a slp 2.5 "Y" pipe.

Yeah Im confident it will be alright. They provide a lot of other information concerning the Smog regulations on the other paper work.

Thanks guys, I'd take you up on it but I just dropped a grand on my g/f 40th birthday.lol. And to be fully legal you cant replace the cats until 50,000 miles and Im not there yet. I'll hit you guys up in a couple months, Thanks

I dont know dont really care. Ima try and get the cheapest set and Jet-hot coat them and have the flanges Milled to make sure they are flat.

All the piping and exterior is all Stainless steel and mandrel bent.
