i would usually go for the chevy in most categories, but i kinda like that titan. dont know too much bout the interior that everyone is talkin bad about, but the titan definetely looks nicer. Since the chevy doesnt have the big engine, i would go with the titan. And im not exactly sure when the nissan will come out with a new model for the titan, but that chevy kind of already looks old being as how that new model is out. just my thoughts...

on a side note my neighobor has a silverado with the 4.8l on 35's stock gears with intake and exhaust. He gets averaged it to 9.8mpg and he does not drive it hard.

actually ive gone offroading on a 2wd titan and it does not get stuck whatsoever even in mud. 4wd are usually if you want to climb rocks.

for the author of the thread, make sure what lift you will be getting, looks like they are both 6" front and 4" rear. dont get fabtech lift, they suck *****. pro-comp is what you want at least

LOL at the fact that you are on a Chevy website asking if you should or should not buy a Chevy.

Im a Chevy guy so Silverado for sure. Just be carefull buying a lifted truck make sure and get under it and look for problems. Its nice that it has dual shocks up front though, hope it at least has the 5.3.

The Titans look good but if I were buying a truck it would be a deisel for sure, my problem there is I like the Chevys and hate the Dodge trucks but the Cummins is alot better motor IMO than the Duramax.

hhahaha I had already made my choice before posting

I ended up getting a 2007 GMC Sierra(new style) Crew Cab 1500 with a 5.3. I would have gone diesel or something bigger but i dont tow or offroad or go over BIRDSHIT so a stock(non lifted) 1500 was perfect for me

Oh and yeah i test drove a 4.8 silverado with a 6" lift n big ol tires it didnt pull for ****. Also test drove a 4.8 sierra with stock height and i had to floor it to even speed up. Then test drove the new style 07 with the 5.3 and loved it. The truck sold itself

Now time for mods!
