What are your plans with the car? I'd go full bolt-ons and a cam. CMS motorsports is right by you. They can take care of all you performance needs and rebuilds.

Fully forged 408 LQ4 stroker with a F1-A strapped to it... You never stated your budget.

Body style is a LT1, but with no sig info, who knows what engine he has or wants.

OP, I can answer any of your LTx questions, if that is in fact what you have.
I even have a nice cam for you to use.

Well that is enough for a nice heads and cam package from Ai.

http://www.advancedinduction.com/AiProductsLT1.html

Give them a call and they can ship you out one of the baddest LTx heads/cam packages around. That will cost you a hair under 2k.
To get the most out of that package you will want a stall and gears though, which is out of your budget.

What is your mod list right now? For 3k you might be better off buying a nice stall, tranny cooler, 3.73 rear end gears, and some supension mods with whatever's left. That will make your car a totally different animal.

Hell of a deal!

If you let me check it out some time I can tell you everything it had externally. I can even pop off one of your valve covers and tell you if you have any vlalve train upgrades.
