Question ceramic window tint?

has anybody used this before, im taking it to get my camaro tinted tomorrow and i was recommended ceramic tint because it blocks out heat very well. what do you guys think?

hmmmm yea let us know what it is like, lately ive been cooking pizza's in my car it gets so damn hot.

hahaha **** i knew sooner or later someone would post that, anyways 130 for basic any shade all the way around, 290 for the ceramic, im getting tired of this hot *** weather

I thought ceramic can shatter glass if it comes in contact? Unless its a differant kind?

Ceramic tint is a better quality tint but if you go with good quality regular metallic it will be pretty damn close. The whole point of ceramic is for people blue tooth, if I'm not mistaken. I know a guy that does ceramic for REALLY cheap, like 160 and he does really good work I'll post up his number tomorrow.

I did a search and I guess there are two types of tint you can go with

Metallic tint or Ceramic Tint

From what I read off a BMW M5 board I guess some people who have a metallic tint have some signal interference for small portable devices (GPS, cellphone, laptop) and can even interfere with radio/xm reception.


I read that Ceramic is best all around for keeping heat out and lasts longer.

I have ceramic tint on my car. 200 bucks for all three windows from Al and Eds with lifetime warranty.

what kind of temps are you guys seeing? it was 101 last night at 9pm. this last week it's gotten up to like 119 or something here in 29.
