you have to respect winding roads like that or else it will bite you in the ***. anyone who has driven highway 74 from the 5 to Lake Elsinore knows that going over 45-50 mph is asking for trouble. i have yet to drive this road but i will imagine it will be more of the same

My rear quarter panel looked just like that. Thanks to a Disneyland sign...I was going 36mph also.

Actually if he really wanted to be a dick and waste money, they can send out a accident crew to measure off your tire marks and calculate pretty accurately how fast you were going. Which was wayyy above 36 by just looking at the marks.

but really, I agree with Dan here, most of you have no bounds to be talking so much **** on the boy. He'll be learning his lesson paying for the repairs, he's just looking out for himself by saying he wasn't speeding. If I was in his situation i'd do the same.
