Question belt is squealling,,whats the problem??

well my 99 tahoe belt squeals and its kinda gettin on my nerves, im not sure what the problem is but i doubt its loose.
so here is what happens:
when i turn the car on the ac compressor clutch spins around and thats when it sqeaks but then it stops spinning for about 10 seconds and does not sqeak at all, 10 seconds later it spins again and sqeaks for about 10 seconds. here is a clip from my phone, notice how the clutch stops spinning, thats when the sqeaking stops.

Belt needs to be changed. It squeaks when under load is all.

I would have a similar squeaking problem with my Firebird due to it getting wet (big puddle at the end of the street, drove over it everyday). Physically did what I could to dry it, then I sprayed some CRC Belt Conditioner on it a couple times, it went away.

it might just be an old dry belt that is getting hard/slippery. i say install a new one and see how that works. With the heat that we deal with in SoCal plus the lots of engine heat our cars proudce we kill belts batteries and other accessories pretty quick.
