OK, this 6pt. is a wolf chromoly bolt on, it is not welded except for the rear over gas tank....i will do some investigating and find out about the low slung bars, i'm curious as to why ur ordering one with low slung side bars if there not legal....ur running low 11's arn't you?
yours sit much lower. My side bars are the same ones in the pic i posted above. The crossbar though that goes in front of the rear sets can not be removable. even says on wolfe's site when your ordering if you pick the detachable one like you have that it is not nhra legal.

two things make this roll bar technically not legal, the door bars are way too low, and if its chromoly then you need to have it TIG Welded, Mig is only legal with mild steel, but i believe it still can be MIG welded to the chassis, but the joints on the roll bar must be TIGed

looks good but just for the heads up your not legal past 11.5 still. The crossbar can not be removeable according to nhra rules and the side bars are to low believe rules state when your sitting int he seat it must pass above elbow height (once it basses a low slung is allowed).
I just ordered mine from wolfe today chromoly weld in, low slung side bars, over the rear seat etc. Did you pait it and leave the area were it was going to be welded free of paint then just recoated or paint it in the car?

George this cage needs to be change i know thats not what you want to here, but if you want to be good for the track you are going to have to moded the thing.
now that you are in the 10s you really need to start reading all the rules they are picky as hell with this stuff. now you start spending money on makeing the thing safe for the track it sucks LOL
and like Ryne said if its moly it needs to be tig

As for cages, I really like how the wolfes fit and also for the cost I think that they are one of the best on the market. As for anything faster then 10.0's I would highly recomend going to a SFI serted guy that builds cages. As for someone that has flipped a Trans am, I cant stress enough how important it is to have the right safety stuff. Ryne at CMS has a really good cage guy that has done all of cars that he takes to the track. I plan on taking my WS6 to him to get the works!
